In Ubuntu 17, DNS is managed through systemd-resolved, which is very bad for VPN connections. To fix a DNS leak, you must delete resolved, and instead install the good old DNSMSQ and give control to the NetworkManager.
To do this, execute the following commands in the terminal:
apt install dnsmasq
systemctl disable systemd-resolved.service
systemctl stop systemd-resolved.service

We upgraded all VPN certificates, and also updated OpenVPN to version 2.4.4, now our OpenVPN servers support a new, more stringent AES-256-GCM encryption method. (we warned about updating the certificate at the end of the year)
To all users, we added 3 days of active subscription.
Most DedicatedVPN update did not affect, because DedicatedVPN already has its new strict VPN certificate.
The answer to the most common question does not work VPN, what to do?
1) If you use OpenVPN and did not update the VPN keys – please go to the Account page, click the GENERATE button, and download the archive with the new VPN keys, and you can delete the old ones.
2) In case of connection problems using the new keys, please delete the old OpenVPN and download the new one (preferably version 2.4.4)
3) If your AProVPN Connector program does not start (a constant startup or authorization process) = – please delete your AProVPN Connector, download new from the link and install.

Dear friends, we are happy to congratulate you on Christmas and Happy New Year 2018.
The year 2017 was remembered by the good enthusiasm for the number of servers, the organization of the tariff groups SharedVPN, DedicatedVPN and AnonymousRDP, as well as multiple successful VPN + TOR experiments in various bundles (which showed excellent tests of anonymity and security, as well as much loved by our users).
Therefore, in 2018, we are going to further increase the number of anonymous server locations and increase experiments with different VPN and anonymous network connections.
Thank you for choosing.
At the end of 2017, we noticed that our root certificate will be obsolete in 2018, so we decided to re-issue the root certificate, increasing its length from 2048 to 4096 bits, this will help us encrypt traffic with a more complex key, gaining maximum security and anonymity. In addition, it will make it possible to use the new encryption method AES-256-GCM (provided you use OpenVPN version 2.4. *).
Therefore 08.01.2018 00:00:00 UTC all old keys will be inactive, you should download new ones in My Account not earlier than 08/01/2018 00:00:00 UTC.
We are glad to work for you, improving our service.
Sincerely Anonymous VPN Biz
Greetings, my anonymous friend.
For you, great news – we have included in our Android client \”Anonymous VPN Connector\” a free account with unlimited use time. At the moment the free subscription includes 2 locations – Germany and Italy.
For all our other users, we added several new server locations – Vietnam, South Africa, Moldova and our pride VPN -> TOR (a special VPN server which, after connecting to the server, further redirects all traffic to a random chain of TOR servers (4 by TOR standard) including DNS ), Which provides an unrealistically maximum level of anonymity and security. VPN -> TOR can also be connected in Double- and Quadro- chains. If for some reason you do not find new locations – contact support.
We wish everyone good luck and a wonderful summer period.
Stay tuned and stay tuned.
After the full update of Ubuntu 16.04 we noticed an unpleasant error – the DNS leak protection in Network Manager stopped working.Continue reading DNS Leak after Ubuntu update
If you use Kaspersky Internet Security and you have frequent disconnections with the VPN server using OpenVPN technology (OpenVPN GUI or AProVPN Connector) at Windows, then most likely your problem will be solved by removing Kaspersky Internet Security and installing other anti-virus software.Continue reading Kaspersky Internet Security and VPN disconnects at OpenVPN GUI
